You might be asking…” What kind of problems?”
Well, that’s a good question. The answer is any problem that is related to human experience, which could be, virtual, physical, digital, mental, spatial, or performance, the list goes on and on. Just think, if you can experience it, I can help you design for it.
My Approach.
Over the past ten years, I’ve worked in a wide range of industries. Engineering, to Fashion, Tech to Hospitality, and Construction to professional services. This experience has given me rich insight into how people think, feel, say, act and experience everyday life. As an experience designer, I use this knowledge to transform data into engaging insights and human-centred solutions.
Human-centered Design
(HCD)
HCD is a people-first approach in which designers and strategist will put themselves into a group or individuals shoes to gain a deeper connection of their lived experience. Using various design methods, we then translate our findings into actionable insights. The combination of lived experience and design methods increases the effectiveness of the solution and ensures that people remain at the centre.
End-to-End experience
(The 5 E’s)
Entice | Enter | Engage | Exit | Extend
The Five E's is a simple and powerful framework to ensure you consider the End-to-End experience. Ensuring the journey is pleasant and the solution lasts, we plan and observe each step that occurs, before, during, and after. Using five E's method during research and design helps to maintain the End-to-End experience is cohesive and enjoyable.
Divergent and Convergent
(Double Diamond)
The Double Diamond is a process to create an effective solution for any problem. Generating as many possible creative concepts as humanly possible. We pick the best ones and then construct prototypes, test, and repeat until we have refined it into the most effective, and user-friendly solution. Using this process ensures that the solution is never "copy and paste" it is designed specifically for the problem at hand.
